Following a six-month internship at Tomorrow’s Company, a think tank exploring the role of business in creating a more sustainable society, Emily completed an MSc in Environmental Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh. Her dissertation investigated the factors influencing sustainable food choices, looking specifically at attitudes towards meat consumption and openness to change. Emily’s PhD thesis builds on her interest in local-level behaviour change, exploring the influence of community-led action on sustainable behaviour uptake within remote rural Scotland.
