Sustaining the Commons
Sustaining the Commons: Ideas and Actions for a Green Economy. Tim Jackson and Peter Victor will present their new report at CANSEE 2013.
The report "Green Economy at Community Scale", published by the Metcalf Foundation, explores the concept of the green economy as a potential solution to multiple challenges including climate change, biodiversity loss, resource scarcity, and financial instability. It is drawn from the authors’ original analysis of the flow of natural and financial assets at the national level. It analyses conceptual foundations, and provides empirical evidence, for more sustainable community-based economic activities.
